INTRODUCTORY STATISTICS FULL COURSE
The Introductory Statistics Course contains 79 self-grading, supplemental microlearning packages that you can upload to your LMS or VLE. Introductory Statistics is intended for the one-semester introduction to statistics course. It focuses on the interpretation of statistical results, especially in real world settings, and assumes that students have an understanding of intermediate algebra. In addition to practice and homework sets, examples of each microlearning topic are explained step-by-step throughout and followed by a “Try It” problem that is designed as extra practice for students. This course also includes collaborative exercises and statistics labs designed to give students the opportunity to work together and explore key concepts. While the course has been built so that each microlearning topic builds on the previous, it can be rearranged to accommodate any instructor’s particular needs. You’ll save time and preparation work with these easy-to-use, beautifully designed, and pedagogically-effective microlessons, or “Micros”.
Micros (lessons) within the Introductory Statistics Course include narrative text, worked examples, “try-it” exercises, and knowledge check quizzes. Macros (chapters) contain a final assessment and an instructor answer key. This product gives you several options so that you can choose how you want to deliver each Micro, whether you decide to include each of them as part of your teaching or let them stand on their own. You can mix up the included individual Micros, or personalize learning by giving students a choice of which ones they would like to complete. Micros are ideal for anytime, anywhere learning so that students can truly be in charge of their own learning, and complete them in their own time and at their own pace.
Each Micro reports the Knowledge Check Quiz and Final Assessment scores automatically to the students and also to your LMS or VLE so that you can see how well your students understood the material.
These microlessons are invaluable for both you and your students and allow you to gauge their knowledge while saving you time. Each license allows for 1 institution or department, unlimited instructors, and unlimited students! And since there are no “per student fees” you can use and re-use these products year after year, even if you change your LMS, for significant cost savings.
